- At the College of Eastern Utah, nursing theory is correlated with knowledge from the biological, physical and behavioral sciences. Qualified nurse educators guide students in theory, laboratory practice, and clinical experiences that utilize acute care hospitals, extended-care facilities, clinics, the home, an other health related environments.
- The ADN and PN programs are accredited through the National League for Nursing Accreditation Council (NLNAC).
PRACTICAL NURSING PROGRAM PLUS ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAM OPTION
Students have two options in nursing education. Students can attend one year of classes to obtain a Certificate of Completion in Practical Nursing, then enter the job market or, if they are interested and qualified, continue with a second year to obtain an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree. LPN's who desire to continue their nursing education can also apply for placement entrance in the Associate degree program.
